Two-Digit Number Line Activity Prompt Cards

PDF | 10 pages|Grades: 1 - 1

A place value activity to help students identify two-digit numbers on a number line.

Use this teaching resource in the classroom when identifying two-digit numbers on a number line.

Print, cut and laminate the prompt cards. Print, cut and glue together the 0-100 number line.

Place students into pairs or small groups and provide each group with a number line, recording worksheet and some counters.

Pick a card and read the clues to the class. Ask the students to place a counter on the corresponding number then record the number on their worksheet.

Alternatively, make a class set for students to use as a rotating Numeracy task when learning about Place Value.

Blank cards have been provided to make your own class set of clues.
