Auslan Analogue Clock Wall Display Template - Northern Dialect

Teach Starter Publishing
PDF | 9 pages | Years: 3 - 6

A template to create an Auslan analogue clock classroom wall display.

Use this Auslan analogue clock wall display when learning about how to sign the time in Auslan (Australian Sign Language).

Create the Auslan clock by cutting and arranging the Auslan sign cards around the clock face.

The template includes:

  • a title for display
  • an hour and minute hand
  • an analogue clock face with Auslan number signs
  • a set of Auslan sign cards for each o’clock time
  • a set of Auslan flashcards for each o’clock time.

Please note: The images shown aim to give a broad understanding of the handshapes required to communicate numbers. Some signs may differ according to area or region. We encourage you to cross-reference using resources within your local community.

Fabulous resource as there are not a lot of free Auslan resources out there. I am confused though, your clock shows different signs to the subsequent cards for 11 and 12. Do you have the 11 and 12 that match the clock?

Hi Felicity, Thank you for your comment and query. The images on the Auslan analogue clock face show number signs 1-12 as they would appear on a standard analogue clock. The flashcards are different in that they show how to sign 1 o'clock, 2 o'clock and so on. I hope that this helps. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask. I am here to help. Have a great day.
