A poster with a picture and information about the infamous Blackbeard.

Information includes:

Blackbeard (real name Edward Teach) got his pirate nickname because of his long black beard that he wore in braids. Sometimes in battle he would hide special matches made from rope in his beard. The matches burned slowly and gave off lots of smoke making Blackbeard appear rather scary to the people he was fighting.

Although Blackbeard is one of the most famous pirates, his pirating career lasted only 2 years. Legend has it that he was shot 5 times and had been stabbed more than 20 times before he was killed in a battle in 1718.
