Celebrations Around The World Inquiry Task
A four page inquiry task, assessing students’ knowledge of cultural celebrations from around the world.
In this inquiry task, students imagine they have travelled to another country. ย Whilst over there they experience one of the country’s most important cultural celebrations. Their task is to write a journal entry which recounts all of their (imaginary) experiences at this cultural celebration.
Cultural celebrations students can choose:
- Australia Day
- Basant Kite Festival
- Bastille Day
- Chinese New Year
- Independence Day
- St Patrick’s Day.
