The term ‘learning behaviour’ refers to a range of characteristics or attributes students can draw upon and apply when engaging in their learning.

Applying these behaviours at various times throughout the learning process can significantly affect pupil learning outcomes.

Learning behaviours can be promoted and applied across all areas of school life, thus helping pupils develop a deeper understanding of how to become the best possible learner.
