Celebrating the Lunar New Year

The Chinese calendar celebrates Lunar New Year every year on the first day of the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar, typically occurring between January 21 and February 20. It is also commonly referred to as Lunar New Year or Spring Festival. It’s a major celebration in China, Taiwan, Korea and Vietnam.

It is a time for family reunions and gift-giving. People prepare food to share with their families while they celebrate together. The festival is also known as Chinese New Year or the Lunar New Year.
