A fun art activity to explore organic shape.
Use this teaching resource when studying shape as one of the Elements of Visual Art. In a Matisse-style artwork, students paint paper from which they cut out organic shapes and arrange them using a garden theme as inspiration.
This activity will require two sessions to complete as you will need to allow time for the painted paper to dry before cutting.
