Hands-On Rhyming Activities

This worksheet can be incorporated into fun hands-on activities.

  • Use real-life materials to encourage discussion about rhyming words before introducing the worksheet. E.g., “I’ve got a chair and a pear – do these words rhyme?”
  • In small groups, divide the pictures and words amongst students and ask them to find their ‘rhyme’ partner.
