Help students take a closer look at how humans grow and change with this simple, straightforward Adult vs. Baby Comparison Worksheet. This printable Adult vs. Baby Comparison Worksheet guides students as they examine the traits shared by babies and adults and identify which features change over time and which remain the same.

A No-Prep Activity for Comparing Humans and Their Babies

On this worksheet, students complete a comparison table with two categories:

  • Traits That Change (such as height, hair length, or abilities like walking and talking)
  • Traits That Stay the Same (such as body covering, number of fingers and toes, or basic body structure)

As they fill in the table, students practise:

  • Observing and describing physical features
  • Comparing humans and their babies by looking at external features
  • Understanding that humans grow without undergoing metamorphosis
