An inquiry-based assessment task for students to demonstrate their understanding of early explorers and the impacts they had on other societies.

Use this teaching resource as an assessment task for students to demonstrate their understanding of the journey(s) of at least one world explorer up to the late eighteenth century, including their contacts with other societies and any impacts.

Students will research an explorer, then present their findings in the form of a PowerPoint or speech.

This resource includes:
