Study the Flags in this NAIDOC Week Colouring Activity

Did you know that in 2022 the Commonwealth Government of Australia purchased the rights to the Aboriginal flag? This means that it is now free to be used by all Australians. Celebrate this win and study the importance of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags with this NAIDOC Week activity. 

This agamograph activity is designed to help your students study the colour and layout of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags. The fun folding element of this activity encourages students to use a keen eye and to take time and care with their work. 

Help your students understand the significance of these flags by discussing the colour elements of each of the flags.
