A project where students get to reinvent a theme park burger bar to be more inclusive of different dietary requirements.
Welcome to Five Wonders Theme Park, the best theme park in the entire world!
This teaching resource is a part of our Five Wonders Theme Park Stimulus Projects. The aim of this project is for students to look into menus that are more inclusive of people with different dietary requirements including health and personal beliefs. Within Five Wonders Theme Park, there is a food truck called Burger Bar. The menu is quite basic and limited and the customers are not happy with the choices. Students need to inquire into different dietary requirements and research replacement foods that are needed to be included to ensure that a larger customer base can ear at Burger Bar.
In this project students will learn about:
- pricing and budgeting
- health and dietary requirements
- healthy and alternative food choices
- cultural and belief differences within communities
