A project in which students get to reinvent a theme park burger bar to make it more inclusive of different dietary requirements.
Welcome to Five Wonders Theme Park, the best theme park in the entire world!
This teaching resource is a part of our Five Wonders Theme Park Stimulus Projects. The aim of this project is for students to develop inclusive menus for people who require different dietary requirements, whether for health reasons or personal beliefs. Within Five Wonders Theme Park there is a food truck called Burger Bar. The menu is quite basic and limited, and customers are unhappy with the choices. Students need to inquire into different dietary requirements and research replacement foods that will ensure a larger customer base can eat at Burger Bar.
In this project, students will learn about:
- pricing and budgeting
- health and dietary requirements
- healthy and alternative food choices
- cultural and belief differences within communities.
