An interactive match-up activity exploring foods of different cultures.

Use this teaching resource to encourage your students to reflect upon multiculturalism in society.

The foods we eat reflect our cultural diversity. Discuss with students the role food plays in making people feel connected and that they belong.

This game is played in the same way as traditional memory games and is suitable for up to three players. There are two versions of the PowerPoint – Level One and Level Two. The PowerPoints include foods from Italy, Germany, Mexico, Japan, France, Greece, Asia, Vietnam, Turkey, India and Spain.

To activate the interactive functions on this PowerPoint, ensure that you have ‘enabled editing’ and are viewing the PowerPoint as a ‘slide show’.
