An Engaging Paralympics Activity to Celebrate the Winter Games

Introduce your students to the excitement of the Winter Paralympics with this hands-on craft activity that combines creativity, literacy and sports awareness. This three-sided snow globe project is designed to spark curiosity and encourage meaningful discussion about inclusivity and athletic achievement.

Each side of the snow globe offers a unique learning opportunity:

  • Colouring Activity – This side of the snow globe features the words ‘Winter Games’ surrounded by snowflakes for students to colour, reinforcing the theme of the activity and adding a fun artistic element.
  • Writing Prompt – This side of the snow globe features a writing prompt: “If I were competing at the Winter Paralympics, the best part would be…” This inspires imaginative thinking and personal reflection.
