Have you left Father’s Day gift ideas to the last minute?
This was always me! It’s understandable though, with so much going on in the classroom, the weeks go by so fast and before we know it, it’s the Thursday before the Father’s Day weekend. Cute Father’s Day Gift Ideas
(1) Dad, You Rock!
I think this is the cutest idea for a Father’s Day gift. You can get your students to search for rocks, alternatively, I bought a bag of them from my local cheap shop for $2! Along with the hessian bag and gift tag!
Such a simple idea, that will create hours of time spent with their Dad or someone special to them! You can change the word ‘Dad’ to ‘Pop’ or ‘Grandad’ as well!
(2) You’re Fintastic! – Editable Card
Although my dad was never a fisherman, there are a lot of dads out there that love fishing!
This ‘fishing’ inspired card is just the cutest with endless craft options depending on how much time you have to create something special. I especially love the last statement on the card ‘You’ve got me hooked!’
Simply print out the You’re Fintastic Template have your students write a special message inside. Alternatively, get creative and layer string, fabric and the coloured pictures to create this gorgeous card!
This card can also be downloaded as a Microsoft Word document so you can edit the text before you print it.
(3) You’re Roarsome Editable Card
Another one of my favourites! So cute!
Simply print out the You’re Roarsome Editable Card Template. Then, your students use their fingers to do some fingerprint art to create the mane of the lion. They can then add orange triangles to add a bit more depth to their card.
You can download the full colour or black and white PDF “You’re roarsome Dad” version or the editable Microsoft Word document if you’d like to change the text.
(4) I Love You to Pieces!
This is a free teaching resource download from last year! A fun card to create and the end result is so cute!
