A set of flashcards and a dice to use when learning to sign Australian animals in Auslan.
Use this teaching resource to help your students learn how to sign the names of some common Australian animals in Auslan (Australian Sign Language).
Print, cut and laminate the animal flashcards. Print and construct the animal dice.
In small groups, students take turns to roll the dice. Ask the students to refer to the flashcards to sign the Australian animal that they have rolled.
As students become more confident, encourage them to sign the Australian animal without referring to the flashcards.
