Celebrate the Theme With a Book Week 2025 Display
Inspired by the 2025 theme, Book an Adventure, this printable Book Week 2025 Display transforms your classroom or hallway display into a reading tracker full of colour, creativity, and purpose. The display includes a print-and-piece adventure map, a banner for your classroom display board, and themed review templates to guide student reflection.
Every element of this Book Week 2025 Display ties into the adventure theme, encouraging students to read more and share their thoughts as they “travel” through books.

Setting Up Your Book Week ‘Book an Adventure’ Display
Setting up your Book an Adventure Display is a breeze! Simply choose one of the two versions you’d prefer and print it! We’ve included two versions, one for older students with 25 map-dot points in place and one for younger students that you can customise by adding your desired number of map dots (books read). To assemble your display,
- Print the banner, map, and book review templates for the version you prefer (pre-set at 25 books or blank so you can determine the number).
- Layer your display board with a blue or ocean-themed background and borders.
- Cut apart and assemble the map by laying out the pieces, trimming the excess, and taping the map together along the seams. You can laminate for durability.
- If you use the blank version for younger students, use dot stickers or paper to mark the number of books you’d like your students to read during the week.
- Each time the class reads a book together, or a student finishes a book, have them complete a map-dot review form and add it to the map along the path toward the treasure.
- Encourage students to add their books to the challenge board throughout the week, adding map pins to showcase their reading adventure.
- Celebrate when your students reach the reading goal!
NOTE: We have also included an enlarged, A3 version of the map. If you have a large-format poster printer, we recommend using this version to avoid cutting and assembling the map. This poster is found on the last page of each PDF file.
If you choose to use this version, we recommend placing the book review map pins around the perimeter and connecting them to the map trail using push pins and yarn.
