We designed these posters as a guide for learning the area of different 2D shapes. Specifically, students will learn the formulas for the:
- area of a square
- area of a triangle
- area of a rectangle
- area of a parallelogram.
How to Make the Most of Your Area of 2D Shapes Poster Set
- Print the posters on paper or thick card and make a classroom display for students to reference when doing independent work.
- Print the posters, slip them into a clear sleeve, and use them in your guided groups as a reminder.
- Print the posters on A5 card, laminate and combine them on a ring as a reference tool when learning about area.
We’ve also come up with bonus ways to turn posters into interactive tools that really make your lessons stick!
