Let’s Review Classroom Expectations!

Ignite your young learners’ enthusiasm for learning and good behaviour with our set of three cut-and-paste worksheets. Designed specifically for foundation and year 1 students, these worksheets provide a fun and engaging way to reinforce essential rules and promote positive behaviour in the classroom.

Each worksheet focuses on a different important rule, allowing students to understand and internalise the principles through hands-on activities. With clear and concise instructions, your students will embark on a journey of discovery and creativity as they build meaningful connections between words, handwriting and visual representation.

The included worksheets use the following rules:

  • I will listen to the speaker.
  • I will follow directions when asked.
  • I will do my very best.

These cut-and-paste worksheets not only provide an interactive learning experience but also stimulate fine motor skills as students handle scissors and glue. By combining essential reading, writing and drawing activities, your students will develop a deeper comprehension of the rules and foster a positive attitude towards learning and behaving in the classroom.

Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding

In addition to independent student work time, use this worksheet as an activity for:

  • Lesson warm-up
  • Lesson wrap-up
  • Fast finishers
  • Homework assignment

Students who need a challenge can create a list of other rules.

Students who need assistance may work with a partner or be guided by a teacher to complete the activity.
