Create a Magical Fruit Tree Template
A template for creating magical fruit to add to a classroom tree display.
This teaching resource can be used to present information in a unique way as a classroom display.
Have the students design and create their own magical fruit from the templates, making sure they include a worded message on their fruit. Once the students have completed their fruit, it can be added to a classroom tree display which highlights variety and difference.
Some ideas for content could be:
- what makes me special
- positive behaviours
- human rights in the classroom
- what I like about school
- qualities I look for in a friend.

A tree template would also be great

Hi Rachelle,
Thanks for the suggestion. The tree would be as big as a wall in the classroom in order to accommodate all the students’ fruits. When I have created these in the past, I have used many sheets of brown and green paper and cut them organically to look tree-like. We feel a template would only complicate matters, especially on a display which highlights variety and difference. Have some fun and involve the students in creating a tree which fits in with the other items in your classroom.
