Easter Worksheets – Writing Activity Sheets

This collection of eight worksheets includes four Easter-themed writing prompts and differentiated versions. These worksheets set your students up for success by providing them with the tools they need to write successful sentences about the topic of Easter.

This resource includes four engaging Easter writing prompts for your early writers:

  • On Easter, I like to…
  • If I were the Easter Bunny I would…
  • I like egg hunts because…
  • I hope my Easter basket has…

The following worksheets don’t include the sentence starter, instead allowing students to get even more creative and come up with their own sentence starter using the vocabulary words on the side of the worksheet.

Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding

To challenge students needing acceleration, have them extend their writing into a multi-paragraph piece using some of our paragraph writing resources and templates

For struggling readers and writers, provide sentence frames for students to build their sentences. They could also benefit from talking about their writing before beginning and generating additional words or details that they could include.
