Looking Back on My Year – End of the Year Activity

Looking Back on My Year is a writing activity where students can reflect on their school year. When the year is almost over, it is a great time to reflect back and then look forward to next year! Students can write or draw their memories inside of the glasses provided. Choose between blank or lined glasses. Students will then colour the face and add hair.

Do Your Students Have Writer’s Block?

Use some of the questions to get your students thinking about what to write in their sunglasses.

  • What were your favourite parts of this school year?
  • What was your favourite book you read this year? Why?
  • Did you go on an excursion this year? Why did you enjoy it?
  • What will you miss most about your classroom?
