Have Fun With Our Mixed-Up Materials Bingo Game

Make learning about materials fun, hands-on, and engaging with this Foundation Year Materials Bingo Game. Designed for young learners just beginning to identify what everyday objects are made from, this printable game helps students recognise wood, metal, glass, fabric, paper, rubber, stone, and plastic with an exciting game of Bingo.

With simple Bingo boards, real‑world object pictures, and easy‑to‑follow rules, this game is perfect for whole‑class lessons, small‑group rotations, or science centres.

A Fun Way to Practise Identifying Materials

This Bingo game helps students build early science skills by observing objects and matching them to the correct material. To play:

  • Give each student a different Bingo board and some counters.
  • Spin the material spinner or call out a material from one of the included material cards.
  • Students look closely at the objects on their board and place a counter on an object made from that material.
  • Students call “Bingo!” when they mark four spaces in a row, a column, or diagonally.
