“Book An Adventure” Crown for Book Week 2025

For younger students, especially, Book Week is one of the most exciting events on the school calendar. There’s the excitement of getting dressed up as your favourite book character, the hype of the annual Book Week parade and of course, the fun classroom activities provided by the classroom teacher!

To bring this year’s theme to life for our littlest learners, Teach Starter has created this delightful crown template based on the theme “Book an Adventure.”

This ‘Book an Adventure’ crown is perfect for sparking creativity and celebrating the magic of reading and where it can take you. Discover how you might incorporate these fun Book Week crowns into your Book Week 2025 festivities!

How to Use Our “Book an Adventure” Book Week Hats

Looking for some ideas as to how you might use our “Book an Adventure” Book Week Hats during Book Week 2025? Here are some suggestions you might like to consider:

  1. Art and Craft Activity – Turn crown creation into an art and craft activity! Provide students with markers, painters, coloured material, sequins, glue and glitter (if you’re brave enough!) so they can make a truly unique crown.
  2. Act or Write a Story – Have your students write or act out a short story featuring the objects or settings featured on their chosen crown. Students could invite other classes to come and see their plays or read their stories.
  3. Photo Booth Fun –  Create a Book Week photo booth with props and backdrops related to popular adventure or travel-themed books. Students can wear their crowns and take photos, capturing their reading adventures.
