A set of posters outlining the various facts about the people represented on Australian banknotes.

These illustrated posters provide students with a summarised look at the people on Australian banknotes.

Each poster includes a quick history of the person’s life with notable facts or accomplishments as well as a cropped image of the banknote on which they appear.

The posters include:

  • Queen Elizabeth II
  • Dame Mary Gilmore
  • Banjo Paterson
  • Reverend John Flynn
  • Mary Reibey
  • Edith Cowan
  • David Unaipon
  • Sir John Monash
  • Dame Nellie Melba.

If you have printing trouble using Adobe Reader, try printing using a web browser like Google Chrome instead. Right-click on the file once it has downloaded and ‘Open with’ Google Chrome. From there you can use your printer settings to print the posters how you wish.

Hi there Saraha, It seems that Adobe Reader is preventing the PDF from being printed because it has images of bank notes (even though they are only partial images). We have discovered that opening the PDF in Google Chrome and printing from there seems to work for us! If you have any other trouble with printing please let us know at [email protected] and we will be happy to assist you further!
