The Science of Independent Learning - Poster

$0.99 or Free on Plus | 1 page (PDF)|Grades: K, F - 6

Poster to help students learn independently in the classroom.

The Science of Independent Learning is a great way of helping students use independent learning strategies. Teachers are often the first call for when students are having difficulty with their classroom tasks, who often do not think to use their own self help strategies. Using the The Science of Independent Learning posters, students can reference to the steps they can take before asking their teacher for help.

This teaching resource can be used as a classroom display, with options of full individual posters with all stages on it. There is a black and white version, which students can interact with by colouring in their own The Science of independent learning, using these posters as interactive activities, desk plates, stick in book references or even as a whole class unit at the beginning of the year. These cute, (but wise) Scientist Monkeys are sure to be a knowledgeable guide for your classroom.

There is also a The Science of Independent Learning Banner to compliment the individual stage posters available. The Magic of Independent Learning version available.

What a wonderful resource! I’ll certainly be putting these to good use in Term 1, 2019!

Can I suggest/request that your clever creators at teachstarter turn these Science and Magic of Independent Learning steps into an addition to your brag-tags resource. To have them in nine-to-a-page format would be very helpful for printing and laminating.

Hi David, it is great to hear that you are liking our science monkeys. I think brag tags are a fantastic idea and will put it forward to our design team. Keep an eye out for this resource in the near future.
