The poetry unit for year 5 and 6 is great but of course to complex for year 3 and 4. It would be fantastic to see a year 3/4 poetry unit especially as poetry has a big weighting in NAPLAN.
Thanks for all the work so far it is amazing!

Year 4 / Literacy
Is it possible to create a random group generator where you have your class named stored (similar to random name generator) and then you can randomly assign them into different groups where you select the number of groups you want (e.g. 3, 4, 5) or even into pairs. Groups generated would be display so students could easily find the group there are working with work with for that lesson.

A unit of work. visual arts, about indigenous Australia and the art made by the first Australians. A unit that includes other interesting art forms other than just your average dot paintings but rather exploring different techniques used by the indigenous australians and ways we can reproduce these items within our classrooms.
A unit in line with both the Visual Arts curriculum as well as the new History Syllabus.
Year 4 / The Arts
I would love a unit for Year 4 Geography (well actually 4 units)
The main characteristics (e.g. climate, natural vegetation, landforms, native animals) of the continents of Africa and Europe, and the location of their major countries in relation to Australia
The importance of environments to animals and people, and different views on how they can be protected
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples’ ways of living were adapted to available resources and their connection to Country/Place has influenced their views on the sustainable use of these resources, before and after colonisation
The natural resources (e.g. water, timber, minerals) provided by the environment and different views on how they can be used sustainably
Year 4 / Geography
Can you please develop some activities/posters/bookmarks etc. based on the QAR (Question, Answer, Relationship/ Question and Response) reading comprehension strategy? This strategy supports students in developing their skills in responding to different question types- In the Text (Right There & Think and Search) and In My Head (Author and Me & On My Own).
Year 6 / Reading
As a relief teacher you are often moved from class to class at short notice and usually don’t have access to photocopying or left work. I would like some key activities that get the children’s interest quickly, simply and with little or no resources required. For example unjumble words, key sentence starters, etc. It would be great if this was across each year level or teaching stages. It does not have to be subject specific but should include literacy and numeracy. Thanks Jen Cernohous
Foundation Year / Literacy
Could we please have a recount writing unit plan similar to that of the persuasive, narrative and informative! Such great planning and resources! Would be great to have for all writing genres!

Grade 5 / Literacy
For all years K-6 linking with the new Daily Maths Mentals generator which is fantastic. Thank you so much. Is there a way you can do something similar for English daily drills incorporating spelling including phonogram knowledge, grammar and punctuation, writing skills including editing, reading skills such as identifying a small passage as fiction, non fiction, text type etc. Just set out clearly like the maths but targeting specific essential skills and knowledge the students need to know. It would be a fantastic resource to have and accompany your new maths one.
Year 2 / Literacy
Could I please have a range of fact cards on all different minibeasts including spiders, butterflies, moths, caterpillars, ladybugs, beetles, stick insects, aphids, flies, snails, milipedes, red back spiders, huntsman spiders, garden spiders, pavement ants, ants etc. Card to include picture and general fact about the mini beast. Thank you.
Year 1 / Science
Hi – I am after a matching activity that helps students to connect the numeral, ten frame, number word and small images of that number for the numbers between 10 and 20
Foundation Year / Numeracy
I have noticed that some of the answers for Year 5 are incorrect.
Week 1 – Question 3 is 84 + 12 / Answer on answer sheet is 1.
Week 1 – Question 5 is 110 + 11 / Answer on answer sheet is 10.
I haven’t checked through them all but just thought I would advise of the error 🙂
Year 5 / Numeracy
Could you please create a resource that covers dictionary skills for beginners. Activities such as putting words in alphabetical order (including when they start with the same letter), the features of a dictionary and thesaurus, words to find in the dictionary/thesaurus etc.
Grade 3 / Literacy
a variety of one and two step worded problems to present to students to read and solve after teaching both division and multiplication. The purpose is for them to identify which operation to use; either multiplication or division before solving the problem.
