Change: Informative Writing - Animal Research Task

by Alison Carter

I’ve tried to print this back to back to make a booklet but it just doesn’t work! The page numbers are out of order.

Shouldn’t the format of the pdf be (from left to right) the conclusion and front page printed back to back with pages 1 and 6, then pages 5 and 2 printed back to back with pages 3 and 4?

Alternatively page numbers 5 and 6 could be swapped with page numbers 3 and 4 (the information runs in a more logical format this way).

Thanks 🙂

Change: Persuasive Texts - Text Structure

by Emma Allen

For the guided/independent task (sequencing activity: Stop Polluting the Ocean, Homework is Unnecessary and Dogs Make the Best Pets), the actual text is different to the sequencing order? It was very confusing to try and put in the right order, when the first page doesn’t match up with the cut and paste on the next page. Can this please be changed? It was VERY confusing for my class and myself to figure our the correct order. Thanks

Maths Word Problem Cards - Multiplication and Division for Middle Primary (years 3-4)

by Ben Fahey

Maths Word Problem Cards – Multiplication and Division for middle primary (years 3-4).

These cards are made for lower and upper primary but there are none for middle primary. I have used the middle primary ones in addition and subtraction and they are fantastic so would LOVE them made for middles in division and multiplication.

Change: Angles Bingo

by Jessica Mills

I love the idea of this bingo however it would be much better being 5×5. I played this with my class and we soon realised that about half the class get bingo at the same time being 5×3. – 3 in a row is too short, 5 in a row can only be done 3 ways.

Change: Relief Teaching Day Plan - Year 3 (Version 1)

by Vikram

A change to the use of 24 hour time as part of the the “Numeracy – Using Units of Measurement” in the Middle Session. 24 hour time is addressed in Year 5, not Year 3, according to the Australian Curriculum and NSW Syllabus. Need a more appropriate, time-based, lesson here.

Reading Comprehensions

by jen589

I have used most of the Reading Comprehension activities on here suitable for my Year 2 reading group (I teach the above average reading ability group for our Stage – 26 kids).
I LOVE these resources. They are perfect for guided group time and help really target the specific strategies. Any chance of some more please? I’ve nearly used them all up! 🙂

Change: a to Z Alphabet Handwriting Worksheets for Fine Motor

by Shona

I was just wondering if it would be possible to change the lines so that it has bold lines for the body letters and dotted lines for the tall and tail letters. So the opposite of what is currently there. This would match my handwriting books used in class and make it a valuable resource! This would be helpful in all of the handwriting resources please.
Thank you

Daily English Drills

by Mary Vescio

For all years K-6 linking with the new Daily Maths Mentals generator which is fantastic. Thank you so much. Is there a way you can do something similar for English daily drills incorporating spelling including phonogram knowledge, grammar and punctuation, writing skills including editing, reading skills such as identifying a small passage as fiction, non fiction, text type etc. Just set out clearly like the maths but targeting specific essential skills and knowledge the students need to know. It would be a fantastic resource to have and accompany your new maths one.
