What Is Mindfulness Colouring?
Wait just a moment. We mentioned mindfulness colouring, but what is it? Also referred to simply as mindful colouring, this is quite simply a practice of combining the act of colouring with the principles of mindfulness meditation!
Mindfulness colouring involves focusing your attention on the present moment and being fully aware of the sensory experience of colouring
It's a great way to work with students on engaging in an activity without judgment or attachment to the outcome, and it can help them with focus and concentration.

There's even educational research backing the benefits of colouring in for kids!
Kids who are considered 'at-risk,' for example, have been found to benefit from colouring as a means for expressing themselves, while a study of people who coloured mandalas experienced decreased heart rate and blood pressure and some improved symptoms of stress and anxiety.
