Applying Reading Comprehension Strategies Unit Plan
This English unit is designed to explicitly teach the reading comprehension strategies of activating prior knowledge, making connections, questioning, monitoring, predicting, inferring, visualising and summarising to upper primary students, with a focus on literary texts.

These are fantastic. I have been using pictures for stimulus writing and this will align perfectly for reading. I agree that a few more for the rest of the term would be great!

These will work perfectly in reading groups with a parent helper! It would be great to have 5 more so we can use a different one each week for a whole term. Thank you!
