2 pages (PDF)|This resource is suitable for Grades: 4 - 6

A puzzle using 12- and 24-hour time.

Use this teaching resource when working with 12- and 24-hour time.

Students are required to cut the polygons out. They are jumbled up, so they will need to put the puzzle back together by looking at the time and then placing the corresponding 12- or 24-hour time next to it.

Students can stick the puzzle back together in their books.

An answer sheet is also provided.

As mentioned on my Instagram, I love this resource but would love to see an easier version for my Year 1s e.g. half hour and hour only times, using 12 hour time.

Thank you for your suggestion, Rachael. We have added a polygon puzzle using hour and half hour times here: https://www.teachstarter.com/teaching-resource/hour-half-hour-time-polygon-puzzle/

We hope your students enjoy it!

      Kind regards
      Jill
