Alphabet Matching Caterpillar Activity

PDF | 3 pages|Grades: K, F - 1

A vibrant and fun activity to teach lower case and upper case to young children.

This is a great independent or small group activity for young children to do to help consolidate their knowledge of upper case and lower case letters.

How to use this resource:

  • Print out the caterpillar (2 pages) and stick each page together to create the caterpillar board. You may like to laminate this board so that it can be used again.
  • Laminate and cut out the yellow and purple circles that have the lower case letters of the alphabet.
  • Ask the students to match the lower case circles to the upper case letters on the caterpillar.
