Build a Pirate Ship STEM Challenge - Middle Years
A STEM challenge suitable for students in the middle years.
Use this STEM challenge to encourage critical thinking and problem-solving in a design technology context.
Students design and construct a pirate ship that can float with prescribed elements. It enables students to use a variety of materials in order to solve the design challenge.
The teaching resource contains a task card that outlines the challenge and a worksheet for recording and reflecting upon the design process.
