Classroom Interactive Calendar

Teach Starter Publishing
PDF | 5 pages | Years: F - 2

An interactive calendar that builds on your students' knowledge of days, months, seasons and the weather every morning.

Print the calendar pages out on A3 or larger and stick them together. Print, cut and laminate all of the additional information pieces also.

Use velcro dots to easy change the information on the calendar every morning. Keep all of the corresponding pieces together in snap lock bags to make it an easier and faster process to find the correct piece.

Students love being chosen to change the pieces and over the year their knowledge of the calendar is reinforced daily.

I like this, however it needs the word 'the' added in … This poster would read: Today is Monday 1'st of November. This is confusing as it is not a complete sentence. It should read: Today is Monday the 1st of November. As I cannot add this in myself, I cannot use this poster and have to use the other one you have on offer but I like this one more as it includes how many people are at school.

I would love to use this but as the seasons do not have capital letters and would be used as headings I think they would confuse my preppies :( super cute though.
