Colouring pages to be used when working with operations.
These colour-by-number sheets are a fun way for students to practice using mental math to solve operations.
How to use this resource in your classroom:
- Have each student choose a colour-by-number sheet.
- Call out two numbers and an operation. Students must do the calculation mentally and colour in the answer if it appears on their sheet.
- The student who colours in their picture first wins!
To make it a bit more challenging, write a number sentence on the board with a missing term and have your students determine the unknown, e.g. 42 + ___ = 61.
