A paper craft that becomes a quilt? Absolutely! This printable template is the perfect way to engage your students and bring them together to create something unique to display at the end of the school year.

To create a classroom Summer Craft Quilt, your students will

1. Think about your plans and what you’d like to do while school is out.
2. Draw and write to share your plans and hopes for the summer.
3. Colour the quilt square in shades of blue, green, yellow, and red.
4. Cut out the quilt square and write your name on the back.
5. Combine the quilt squares with other classmates and hang them up in rows and columns to look like a handmade quilt.
