Determine an equivalent fraction that matches a fraction model with this set of 24 peg cards.

What Are Equivalent Fractions?

Equivalent fractions are fractions that have different numerators and denominators but represent the same value or amount. In other words, they are different ways of expressing the same part of a whole. To find equivalent fractions, you can multiply or divide a fraction’s numerator and denominator by the same number.

Have your students practise identifying fractions from a visual model and determining an equivalent fraction for each with this set of 24 peg cards.
