Introducing a Fun New 5 Senses PowerPoint Teaching Resource!

Understanding the five senses—sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell—is essential for students as it forms the basis of how we interact with and perceive the world. Our downloadable posters offer a detailed exploration of each sense, providing a rich foundation in human biology and physiology. By learning about the science behind the senses, students gain a deeper appreciation for how their bodies work and develop critical observational skills. This knowledge is not only fundamental for academic growth but also for personal development and safety awareness.

To use this Five Senses PowerPoint, follow these simple steps. Follow the directions below to get started.

  1. Download the PowerPoint or Google Slides resource file you prefer.
  2. Download the ZIP file containing the audio files for the slide deck. Save the file to your desktop or Drive and open the folder to view the files. If using Google Drive, make sure you select the files and change the share settings to ALL.
  3. Open the Presentation and run it in Presentation Mode. On slides where drag and drop options exist, press the ESC key on the keyboard to exit presentation mode. Interact with the slide during your lesson, then return the slideshow to presentation mode.
