🦸 Superhero-Themed Father’s Day Gift Idea
Your students will have a ball creating these cute superhero-themed bookmarks for Father’s Day. A creative DIY Father’s Day gift that will make dads or father figures smile from ear to ear.
This papercraft template comes in a number of different formats. The first page includes all of the pieces you need for one bookmark. This can be printed off and handed to each student to decorate themselves. Alternatively, you may like to print each section of the bookmark onto different pieces of coloured paper and your students can then assemble their bookmark using a variety of colours.
✂️ Give Them the (Safety) Scissors
This template makes for a bonus cutting skills activity, depending on your students’ ages and abilities.
With adult supervision, cutting skills help students work multiple muscle groups and their brains, plus:
- strengthen finger and hand muscles
- build dexterity and fine motor skills
- improve hand-eye coordination
- develop focus and attention.
And all of these skills are necessary to use a pencil and a fork; button a shirt and tie shoes; write, type and swipe.
Scissor skills are brain and muscle skills!
