Goal Labels - Writing (Lower Primary)
Forty-four writing goal labels for lower primary.
This set of goal labels have been designed to help students develop their writing skills. These goals help students to reflect upon their work and become more responsible for their own learning.
Print and cut the goal labels out. Students can stick these in their books or have them on their desk to remind them of their writing goal.
Use the PDF Checklist to track all of the goals for each student.
The Excel Spreadsheet can be used to track the goals for all of your students. In the Excel spreadsheet, you can type a ‘y’ to get a green box that indicates the student has achieved that goal, an ‘n’ to indicate the child has not achieved the goal yet and a ‘w’ to indicate that the child is working toward achieving the goal.
A blank set of labels are provided at the end to add your own writing goals.

Do you have any goals with visual pictures. I teach prep to Year 2 and some can’t read. They need visual pictures with the words.
Also it would be great to have just one download with all the goals not repeated on each page.
So we can make copies.
Many thanks.

Hey Sunshine, thank you for writing in with your idea. That is a great idea and I agree images would benefit the lower years children. To get this suggestion moving forward, could I please ask that you make a request and the votes it acquires will movie it forward much more quickly. If there is anything else that I can assist you with, please do not hesitate to contact us.

these are very helpful to have and will save a lot of time. I like to put velcro dots on the desks and laminated labels – great achievable and practical goals!!
