Create your own graduation caps with an end-of-the-year promotion cap craft activity!

Graduation Cap Design – End-of-Year Craft Activity

The end of the year is such an exciting time for graduating kindy and prep students. Use this design for your students to create their own promotion cap! Students can choose from the given cut-outs or create their own drawings. In addition, students can draw or write about what their cap includes and why they chose the symbols they added..

Through this activity, students will use descriptive writing or drawing and show their creativity by designing a promotion cap with cut-outs and drawings.

Other Ways to Celebrate Kindy Graduation

Make a cap, have a party, and make those end-of-year celebrations memorable with many different ideas and activities. Here are a few fun ideas to spice up your last days of school.

  • Diploma Crafting: Have students design their own diplomas using art supplies such as markers, stickers, and colourful paper.
  • Memory Books: Creating memory books filled with photos and drawings is a great way to hold onto all the special moments throughout the year. It’s a perfect keepsake that parents and students can look back on for years.
  • Classroom Awards: Celebrate each child’s individuality by creating personalised awards and presenting them in a fun mini-graduation ceremony.
  • Graduation Songs and Dances: Having fun and practising simple graduation songs or dances with the kids before the ceremony is a great idea! It’ll help them feel more confident and excited for their big moment.
