Science Experiment - Lights Line Up!

PDF | 4 pages|Grades: 4 - 6 | Starter Sheet

A science experiment which explores light.

Light travels from a source to our eyes but we can block light by putting something in between the source and our eyes. The fact that we can block light tells us something about how it travels. Let’s investigate!

This Physical Sciences experiment allows students to investigate how light travels. It also models how to design a fair test and guides them through the experiment procedure.

Students follow the scientific method to conduct the experiment in small groups and then complete the worksheet provided.
