NAPLAN-Style Assessment Rubric - Historical Recounts
A NAPLAN-style rubric designed to help teachers to assess students’ historical recounts.
This assessment rubric for recount writing can be used to determine whether students are working below expectations, to expectations or above expectations in the following areas:
- audience
- recount structure
- ideas
- sequence of events
- vocabulary
- cohesion
- paragraphing
- sentence structure
- punctuation
- spelling.
This resource may be helpful for teachers to use when preparing students for the NAPLAN Writing Test.
