## Differentiated Cut and Paste Number Line Worksheets

Practise skip counting and determining the count with this set of hands-on, differentiated number line worksheets.

This activity will have students completing ascending number lines with increments of:

• ones
• twos
• fives
• tens

We have differentiated this resource for your varying student needs. There are three versions included, marked with stars depicting skill level:

★ Level 1 – This level only counts by 1,2,5, and 10 for numbers up to twenty.

★★ Level 2 – This level counts by 1,2,5, and 10 for two digit numbers up to 100.

★★★ Level 3 – This level counts by 1, 2, 5, and 10 for two-and-three-digit numbers up to 120.

Students cut out the missing numbers from the bottom of the page and paste them into the correct positions on the number lines above.

## Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding

In addition to individual student work time, use this worksheet as a:

• Guided maths groups
• Lesson warm-up
• Lesson wrap-up
• Fast finishers
• Homework assignment
• Whole-class review (via smartboard)

On the back of the worksheet, challenge more-capable students to create additional number lines with missing increments. Have them swap with a partner and complete the new number lines.

Students who need extra support can be given completed number lines for reference.
