Round to the Nearest 10 With a Splash of Fun!

Oh no! Some poor little goldfish have been separated from their fishbowl! Encourage your students to save the day for these fishy friends with this rounding worksheet.

With this worksheet suitable for year 1 and 2 students, students must determine which fish belongs to which bowl by rounding to the nearest ten. The numbers included on this worksheet are limited to single-digit and double-digit numbers, making this a great activity for students who are just starting to learn the concept of rounding. To complete the worksheet, students can draw a coloured line to match the correct fish to the correct bowl.

This teacher-created worksheet can make a great addition to any maths center, used as independent practice or sent home as homework to help students practice and reinforce how to round to the nearest ten. With this download, you will also find an answer key to make grading quick and easy!
