A game to use when learning about waste and recycling.

Print the Rubbish Bin Sorting Activity. Cut out the waste products and instruct students to put each of the products on the correct bin.

There are 2 versions of the bins provided. One version has the name above the bin and the second version is blank to assist in aligning with your local waste solutions.

In my area we have dark green bins for general waste and lighter green bins for compostable waste. Is it possible to add a couple of pages with a dark green and light green bin? Actually the general waste bin looks like our green waste bin, but our general waste bin has the same colour lid as the rest of the bin. So maybe just one extra?

Oops too early in the morning I guess- I should say our general waste bin has a lid the same dark green as the rest of the bin and the green waste bin is like the one featured in the resource.

            Hi Emma,

Thank you for your message. We have added in another green bin to match what is used in your area.

            Kind regards
            Jill
