Skip Counting Worksheet Set — Complete the Series

Check your students’ understanding of skip counting by increasing intervals of 5, 10, and 100 in number series including 2- and 3- digit numbers. These worksheets require students to look at the number series, determine the skip counting rule, and complete the series by filling in the blank spaces.

An answer key is included with your download to make marking fast and easy!

Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding

In addition to individual student work time, use this worksheet as a:

  • Maths rotation or guided group
  • lesson exit ticket
  • fast finisher activity
  • homework assignment
  • whole-class review (via smartboard)

To make this worksheet more of a challenge for students who are waiting for others to finish,  have them make their own series on the back of their worksheet and swap with a friend to solve.

Students who need extra support may benefit from having a desk-top hundreds chart to refer to.

Turn this teaching resource into a sustainable activity by printing it on cardboard and slipping it into a write-and-wipe sleeve. Students can record their answers with a whiteboard marker and then erase and reuse.

Additionally, project the worksheet onto a screen and work through it as a class by having students record their answers in their notebooks.
