Alana Kanton

Hello I am using the widget to create my own sheets. When I download them the letters are positioned in the middle of the dotted thirds line rather than on the solid line. Is there a way for me to fix this? Thanks!

Hey Riley, thank you for reaching out to us. We have a Widget that generates handwriting sheets to customise them to suit your purpose, including adjusting handwriting styles lines. You can find our Handwriting Widget by following this link: https://www.teachstarter.com/au/widget/handwriting-sheet/

Juliet Gullefer

Hi, just used the handwriting widget, what a fantastic resource! Thank you so much. I’ve created differentiated handwriting to suit my class in their literacy rotations as one of their activities! No need to buy expensive books anymore, which don’t always suit the needs of my students! Well done! Looking forward to when the technology is capable of doing full cursive, but for now, pre-cursive still give them the fine motor and idea.

Bec Mcintosh

Is it possible to create this with plain blue lines for QLD Cursive?

Bec Mcintosh · Feb 9th, 2020

Royce (Teach Starter)

Hey Bec, that sounds like a fantastic idea. Could I please ask that you place a change request and we can progress that to be made for you.

Teach Super

I love these but is there a way to make the font darker? I put these up on the board and it can be quite hard to see.
Thanks 🙂

Teach Super · Feb 12th, 2019

Hi there,
As these are designed as tracing sheets, a darker font colour would be counterintuitive as the students would be unable to see their own writing.
I would suggest taking a look at our Handwriting Worksheet Generator Widget. You can copy the information you require into the widget and customise the font as you require.
If there is anything else I can assist you with, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
