Solve the math riddles and read analogue clocks with a fun Time to 5 Minute Telling Time Game.

⏱️ Maths Riddles + Telling Time = Fun!

Get your students excited about learning to tell time with this fun, engaging game! Students will practise telling time to the nearest five minutes with fun maths riddles! This printable game is the perfect way to help your students practise the skills they have learned in class in a different way. This maths riddle matching game is the perfect addition to your maths centres!

Solve the Riddles and Tell the Time to the Nearest 5 Minutes

To play this game, students will

  1. Lay out the clock cards on a flat surface. Place the riddle cards in a stack next to the playing area.
  2. Draw a riddle card and read the riddle.
  3. Match each riddle card to the clock card with the corresponding time. If students can find the correct match, they get to keep the cards. If they cannot find the correct card, player two can try to win the cards by finding the correct time.
  4. Play continues until all riddles are solved and matched with their clocks. The player with the most cards at the end of the game wins!

Through this activity, students will show they can read analogue clocks and comprehend story problems related to time-telling concepts.
