Make Your Own Handwriting Worksheets

Teaching handwriting and want handwriting worksheets that you can print out for students with specific letters or words in the right font for your students, using the lines specific to your state and school? There’s a teaching tool for that! This simple worksheet maker was created by our teacher team to make it easy for your to create your own handwriting pages.

Create tracing sheets for students to practise letter formation using your provided examples, or make your own printable pages filled with words from your current topic of study so they can practise using the correct stroke and direction to write!

The key to developing clear and legible (!) handwriting is practise, practise, practise, and you’ll never run out of options for students to do just that.

Tips for Using Fonts and Lines

We realise each state in Australia uses different lines and fonts — and fonts can even vary between schools in the same state! It’s why this worksheet maker allows you to pick your style of font, font colour and the lines that will work best for your students.

For the lines, you have the options of solid, dashed and dotted, plus a variety of colour choices! Want your students to be able to trace over letters? Change the colour of the font to a light grey.

To save you time searching for the fonts and lines you’ll need, we’ve put together this quick overview of how to set up your worksheet, based on the most common fonts and lines:
